Coordinated care

When your care needs more than one specialist

Many treatment plans involve two specialties. Our practices are set up to plan them together, with your permission and your general dentist kept informed.

Common care pathways

How our specialists work together

These are typical examples. Your own plan depends on an examination by the specialists involved.

Children

Growing smiles

Your child’s pediatric dentist watches how teeth and jaws develop. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic check by age 7, and our pediatric and orthodontic teams can share findings so the timing is right.

What coordination means here

Clear roles, shared information, one plan

Shared records, with permission

With your consent, our practices share X-rays, scans and treatment notes, so you don’t repeat records you already have.

Specialists agree the sequence

When two specialties are involved, the doctors agree which treatment comes first and how long each phase is expected to take.

Your dentist stays in the loop

Your general dentist remains your dental home. We send updates and return you to them for routine care.

Each practice books its own visits

You schedule with each practice directly. At our shared campuses, more than one specialty sees patients in the same building.

Not sure where to start?

Begin with the specialty that matches your main concern. That practice will tell you if another specialist should be involved.
