ICON Smile Studios brings three specialty practices together, so patients can get coordinated specialist care, often under one roof.
One group, three specialties
ICON Smile Studios was founded by Dr. Yugal Behl, an orthodontist, and Dr. Monika Madan, a periodontist. Their idea was simple: patients of every age should be able to see the right specialist, and have those specialists talk to each other.
Each practice keeps its own specialists, phone line and scheduling team. At five of our offices, more than one specialty sees patients in the same building, which makes coordinated treatment easier for families.

Behl Orthodontics has cared for Hampton Roads families for years, with seven offices from Virginia Beach to Yorktown. Treatment is led by orthodontists who plan every case from the first evaluation to the final retainer.

Madan Periodontics & Implant Dentistry treats gum disease and replaces missing teeth with dental implants, working closely with the general dentists who refer to them. Offices in Town Center, Hilltop and Suffolk.

ICON Pediatric Dentistry makes dental visits comfortable for kids, from a first checkup to the teen years. When a child is ready for an orthodontic evaluation, Behl Orthodontics is in the same building at our Hilltop, Norfolk, Suffolk and Chesapeake offices.

Many patients come to us through their general dentist, and you can also contact any of our practices directly. Some insurance plans require a referral, so check your plan.
